ut in the county of Baltimore, surrounded by greenery, sits the lovely home of Jessica and Michael Kremen, their kids, Lily and Gus, and their pup, Simon. I was really excited when Jessica reached out to me, asking if I’d style her family room, not only because it would be the first family room I’d styled, but also because it was a blank canvas. They had a couch in the family room and that was it. The room was obviously where they and their children spent most of their bonding time. Understanding this and also the ages of the kids—and making sure that things weren’t too fragile or in the way—was at the forefront of my mind.
